Graduate Recruit Program

Graduate programs play an important role, strategically, in managing and sustaining the APS talent pool. However, to gain the advantage, over time, of a successful graduate recruitment program, recruits need extra support, investment and exposure to executives and SES staff. Moreover, graduate recruits must rapidly learn crucial public sector skills that can provide a vehicle for their policy development insights and parliamentary knowledge.

Francis Walsh's graduate training provides the support, skills development, professional insight and motivation.

For years, graduate recruits have experienced dramatic skills development through
Francis Walsh's training. Whether they attend the special graduate recruit versions of the 'Dear Minister' course, 'Office Writing' or 'Managing Writing for the Australian Public Sector', they receive a thoroughly up-to-date insight into the culture and modus operandi of the APS, as well as developing the writing and communication skills they need. Pitched at exactly the correct standard and tone, graduates become more deeply engaged and excited about their experience and their destiny.

Sometimes, graduate training groups number between 15 and 30. However, Francis Walsh has conducted highly successful courses for 60 graduates as a single group.
